Cheese & Bacon Twist - Revisited

Last Friday , Josh came back for the weekend and we took him out to eat all his favorite food . wow...you can see he really misses Ipoh food especially the famos curry mee opposite MGS secondary school. Well, besides all the great Ipoh food, he also misses homemade buns. I used to make this for him when he first entered college...that was 3 years ago and it has been quite a while since I last made this. But thanks to the bread/bun fever , I am back to baking buns and bread :p I made a dozen or more for him to take back to KL and share with his friends and for his breakfast :)

I first learned to make this soft , fluffy ,and full of flavor bun from Pook's blog - Dailydelicious , two years ago . Ever since then I have been making this bun for my Piggies each time they come home from KL. They love the soft fluffiness of this cheese & bacon twist.  You know why it is called a twist ?  Coz you have to cut a slit through and slip both ends through the slit and pull both ends out to give it a twist :p  I enjoyed making this ..quite a lot of work involved but the end result is WORTHWHILE :)  I used bacon instead of salami in this recipe.

I hope you all enjoy my sharing here ! :)
and
thank you Pook for sharing this wonderful recipe
