Stretch marks doesn't just affect pregnant women but also to growing kids who have added weight tremendously and to some who are obsess in muscles buildings which will rip the skin fiber.  Like , for example it happened to my Piggy Joshua . He has stretch marks on his upper arms...so I went around looking for remedy for him and I found one that will helps to remove the existing stretch marks and prevent future marks on his upper arms. It only appeared after his regime on building up muscles on his upper arms.  Vanity can be bad at times like this :)

Stretch marks are caused by the skin being stretched more than normally or there is a hormonal change in the body that has weakened the skin and these two factors will lead to the development of stretch marks on the body.  Stretch marks are caused because skin fibers have ripped due to the stretching of the skin beyond normal limits. I read online that there are other methods to remove the stretch marks - Laser surgery is one of them, not painful but it is expensive .The types availabe depends on the type of stretch mark whether it is old or new. I don't think Joshua will be interested in laser surgery , thus I suggested stretch marks removal cream for him.  I recommended this to him and he agrees that it may be good for him.  Stretch marks are visible on his upper arms and he is very conscious of it because he likes to wear sport sleeveless Ts whereby his muscled upper arms are displayed to all the girls in college :)  So this Momsie have to go online, read up on this  stretch mark removal cream and after reading through , feels that he should use it since he is so vain !

The sooner he starts using the cream to treat them, the better the results.
