Japanese Steamed Double Chocolate Cake With White And Dark Chocolate Ganache Frosting

Another delicious Japanese steamed cake for your eyes only :)  Double chocolate is reason enough to give you the  satisfaction of a chocolatey flavored cuppies.  I wanted to give Wild Boar a yummlicious dessert that takes only 35 minutes to prepare and the result - a rich chocolate cake that he walloped two at one go.  And the fresh cherry sitting on the white and dark chocolate ganache makes the cake looks sexy and appealing :p   Love it !  I could not resist it myself and took one despite the fact that I promised not to partake in this sweet chocolatey indulgence :)

I stole one more of  Ellenaguan's steamed cake recipe . Double chocolate was the main attraction and what more it is easy job and that is another appealing factor.   I have some melted white and dark chocolate in the fridge ,  left overs from previous baking , I decided to top the chocolate cakes with the melted chocolate and top it with some fresh cherries....mmmmm this is sinful indulgent on our part but who first and worry later :p  right ?

richly packed with bittersweet chocolate chips

turned the cupcake over and frost with the melted dark chocolate
ganache and then drizzle the  melted white chocolate in
zig zag design  over the dark chocolate

you can serve them without any taste good too
the cherries are for presentation only :p

my share it !
wish I could tuck in more than one :)

two for Wild Boar and one for myself,
the rest , I gave them to Claire and another colleague
lucky ones ....but I am the guilty one...for I am the one
making them grow sideways ;p
