Ciabatta Garlic Bread Slices


















I have a loaf of Ciabatta bread left in the freezer .  It was at least a week old ,and all of a sudden I had a craving for garlic bread...mmmmm I thawed it the night before and the next morning I just sliced them up and made some mixed herbs garlic butter .....gosh ,  applied on the slices of a week old Ciabatta and in less than 10 minutes, I had garlic bread that smells as good as it was freshly baked.   The rest of the slices....you can guess what I did with them...coming in my next post.  After this experience, I know for sure , I can make loaves of bread in advance and store them up in the freezer , knowing they will still turn out good :)

















I really love homemade Artisan bread...this is the batch from the previous post of Ciabatta Bread using Biga method - Peter Reinhart.  You can get the recipe from the previous post here, that is if you are keen to make your own artisan bread :)   I love love Ciabatta bread and the rest of the Artisan bread.  There are so many ways to eat them ,the left over bread  I mean Stayed tuned for the next post....no waste and I turned my left over bread into mouth-watering breakfast treats and desserts  :)



















lazy me ....I did not use a food processor to mince the garlic thus the garlic
was a bit coarse and pungent but just the same, I like the pungent taste of
the garlic and the mixed herbs with the melted butter...mmmmmm
delicious treat for the morning :)
