These are so addictive. I can finish one whole container of it LOL! They are so crunchy and healthy. Oven baked!!!! Yes, oven baked and not deep fried like those sold by the store. I took this recipe from Anncoo Journal and truly it was so yummy good. I ate without any guilt. Easy to make and cheaper to make yourself than buying from the store. I make a few tubs and gave them as gifts to my brothers during the CNY when I visited them during the 1st day of CNY :) My nephews and nieces love them !
all you need is white sesame seeds, roasted nori seaweed , fish fillet strips
and egg whites
just arrange them nicely in a row on parchment paper
baked them in oven temp of 140C for just 8 mins
cool them and keep in air tight container
Crispy Baked Cod Fish Strips - adapted from Anncoo Journal
Ingredients
200g Cod fish strips
8 pack Nori Seaweed
8 pack Nori Seaweed
adequate egg white and toasted white sesame seeds
Method:
1. Cut the nori seaweed into 7 strips
2. Fold 4 cod fish strips together into half. Brush a strip of nori seaweed with egg white and roll it over the cod fish strips at one end.
3. Dap a a little egg white on the nori seaweed and press on the sesame seeds
4. Bake at preheated oven 140C for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
5.Leave them to cool and store into an airtight container
This looks yummy and healthy. Plus no need to stand in front of the hot stove to fry them. You mentioned cod fish...can you please share to get this cod fish strips and what brand are you using?
