Palm Sugar Jelly

Making jelly is such an easy job for me...anyway it is the easiest and no fuss at all compared to making cake or cupcakes.  Love this sweet and fragrant dessert. Making these cutie lil gold fishes and heart shaped jelly for cell group.  Anything made with passion and love will turn out awesome.  The texture of the jelly is perfect....and the level of sweetness is just nice.  I shall give thanks unto the Lord for the wisdom bestowed unto me, enabling me to make this lil cuties into beautiful jellies :)

I love the gold fish jelly mold which I bought years ago and still serving me well :)

Bronze colored gold fishes :p  love the translucent gold fishes
and those heart shaped ones just as delightful

Palm Sugar Jelly

37grams of agar agar strips (soak in water for 5 mins )
1.5 litres of water
1 piece of palm sugar
1/4 cup cane sugar - amount to dividual taste
2 pandan leaves ( screwpine leaves ) tie into a knot

Put 1.5 litres of water and screwpine leaves, palm sugar and cane sugar  to boil. Once the palm sugar and cane sugar has dissolved. Off heat.   Sieve the sugar liquid mixture twice to remove any sediments.
When that is done, put back the liquid mixture back on stove and add in the soak agar agar strips and boil under medium low heat until the agar agar strips has fully melted. Off heat.
Pour into moulds and leave it to cool down and set totally before removing from mould.  Chill in fridge before serving.

Enjoy  !
